1. Introduction

These General Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of Gift Cards purchased online on the La Serra Bistrot website. The purchase of a Gift Card implies acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

2. Characteristics of Gift Cards

Gift Cards are available in different denominations and can only be used in our restaurant. Gift Cards are not nominative and can be transferred to third parties.

3. Purchase and delivery

Gift Cards can be purchased online via our website and will be sent digitally to the e-mail address given at the time of purchase. The user is responsible for the correctness of the e-mail address provided.

4. Validity and Use

• The validity of the Gift Card is stated on the document itself.
• The Gift Card is only valid for the service indicated on it and must be used in one lump sum. It is not possible to downgrade the amount based on partial consumption.
• It cannot be recharged or converted into cash.

5. Refund and Exchange

Gift Cards are neither refundable nor exchangeable in case of loss, theft or expiry.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to Art. 59 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is not applicable to the purchase of digital Gift Cards as these are digital goods not supplied on a tangible medium.

7. Liability and Limitations

The restaurant is not liable for improper use of the Gift Card nor for any unauthorised access. The restaurant reserves the right to cancel Gift Cards suspected of fraud or misuse.

8. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

The restaurant reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via the website.
